7703 Impulse Surge Tester is a two-channel 5KV impulse winding instrument that's capable to measure inductance down to 0.5uH and magnify high frequency harmonics so as to prevent shorts between the layers of windings. Mild corona happening between coils would create harmonics with compact amplitude and high level frequency (>10MHz) that cannot be explored by a regular impulse winding device which can only observe mild amplitude without really recognizing the fault. Our 7703 Impulse Surge Tester deploys High-frequency harmonics analysis HARM technique so as to magnify high-frequency harmonics then show those on display screen then recognize each mild release between layers and make sure the quality of all component coil.
